Inside Hexham Abbey

Inside Hexham Abbey

Hexham Abbey

15min drive from Langley
A really beautiful and historically interesting Abbey in the quaint pretty town of Hexham. There has been a church on the site since 1300. Make sure you don’t miss taking a look down in the Anglo-Saxon Crypt left intact from Wilfrid’s original church! (I’m sure I saw a ghost!). As it’s very central to town, they also have a market just outside on market day.
